Nick Saban, eternally in the Miami Douche Hall of Fame, has analogized the the no-huddle offense to tobacco use. Nick continues to excel at making our stomachs churn.
The “10 Second Rule,” mandating offenses not snap the ball until 10 seconds run off on the play clock, will be voted on tomorrow.
Via ESPN’s Chris Low:
“The fastball guys (up-tempo coaches) say there’s no data out there,” Saban said. “And I guess you have to use some logic. What’s the logic? If you smoke one cigarette, do you have the same chances of getting cancer if you smoke 20? I guess there’s no study that specifically says that. But logically, we would say, ‘Yeah, there probably is.'”
